All Change Last Week
We had an exceptionally busy week behind the scenes last week and I'm feeling really optimistic. The big picture is looking really bright. First up I want to announce a change in management. Before I announce that I want to say thank you to Mickey Helliet who has guided my career from the start. It's just time to move on to pastures new. With that said I'm excited to announce that I have teamed up with Mark "Mo" Prior and British Warrior Boxing Promotions. I truly believe this partnership is going to push me all the way to the British Title and beyond.

On top of all that happening, last week we had the purse bids for my English title fight against "Smokin" Joe Mullender and will have a date and venue for that very soon!
I also launched my new website Elliott Matthews
Give it a look, I'd love to hear your feedback. To stay up to date with all my news please subscribe on the contacts page. Don't think for a second though that with all this going on behind the scenes I've taken my foot off the pedal training wise! No way, we are always training hard and smart, I'm even more spurred on and "Ready For Anything 👊🏻"! It's been an exciting week and there are exciting times just around the corner.
And now for my thoughts on the topic that seems to be all over the boxing media at the moment...................

I have no problem with the hype if that's what the public want. But I can't wait for it to be over so attention is diverted back to the mainstream elite fights like GGG v Alvarez, Billy Joe Saunders v Monroe, Lomachenko v Rigondeaux, Groves v Eubank and of course Matthews v Mullender. Both are the best entertainers and professionals in their own right.. however.. it's now like a pantomime and the way it's going I wouldn't be surprised if the fight's choreographed as much as the build up. I'm going Floyd Jr all day long 🥊.
